Police have issued an appeal after a young person was injured during an incident in Co Antrim on Friday.
It is reported that a young man had what was believed to be a 'lit aerosol can' thrown towards him in Carrickfergus before 7pm on February 21.
The PSNI are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could help enquiries to get in contact.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "There has been a report tonight of a young person being injured after what is believed to be a lit aerosol can, was thrown towards him, causing cuts to his hands.
"This reportedly happened on Black Path, within the vicinity of Oakwood Road, Carrickfergus, at approximately 18:50 hours.
"If you witnessed this or have any information in regards to it, please call 101 and quote serial reference number 1589 of 21/02/25."
