EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Ashley and Ashley Outlet of Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
We recently received an email about a little boy locked in a car in Rexburg. It said:
Yesterday we had a situation where my daughter accidentally locked her 1-year-old grandson in the car while getting ready to take him to his mom. Her purse with the spare key was in the car well as her key chain and phone.
We used my phone to call the police and they got ahold of ARK Lock and Security. They both arrived in just a few minutes as the call involved a child. The ARK employee (Tyler Platt) was so professional and had the door open in a few min.
The reason for my nomination is that Tyler was so polite and we asked what the charge would be. He said it was a free service when it involves a child who gets locked in a car. I have a high regard for ARK Locks and Security after finding out there service for these situations. I’m sure there are many people who have benefited from this service.
We decided to surprise Tyler and thank him for his actions. Watch in the video player above!
