Wreck on Highway 33 near River Rim claims 4 lives

VICTOR — Four people were killed in a wreck in Teton County on Highway 33 Friday night, according to Idaho State Police.

The head-on crash happened a little before 10 p.m. near Tetonia, police said.

Officials are working with the Teton County Coroner to notify the victims’ next of kin, so on further information is available at this time.

Both lanes of US-33 were blocked for eight hours to give crews time to clear the scene.

Idaho State Police are investigating the incident. More details will be released when they are available.
