Woman hospitalized following 2-vehicle crash near Twin Falls

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

TWIN FALLS – Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash that occurred at 5:19 p.m. on February 21 at Eastbound U.S. Highway 30 at milepost 213 in Twin Falls County.

A 55-year-old man from Twin Falls, the sole occupant, was traveling northbound on 2500 East in a 2022 Blue Bird School Bus. A 36-year-old woman from Filer in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30. The driver of the Blue Bird School Bus failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the Jeep.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the Jeep was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

All lanes of travel on U.S. 30 at the intersection were blocked for about four and a half hours.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Magic Valley Paramedics, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, and Filer Fire Department.

This remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
