Misty Mireles found in area of search near Lake Harney Road

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A woman last seen on Sunday after leaving a party in Osteen has been found dead, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday.

Deputies posted Monday evening on social media asking for the public’s help locating 46-year-old Misty Mireles, who was last seen Sunday sometime from 3 a.m. to 4 a.m. after leaving a party off Underhill Ranch Road in Osteen.

On Tuesday at 2:23 p.m., sheriff’s office officials posted again on social media saying in part, “We’re sad to report that Ms. Mireles has been found deceased in the area of the search near Lake Harney Road.”

Deputies said that there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances in Mireles’ death.
