A large law enforcement presence in the area of 16th Road, State Road A1A in Palm Coast

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday evening that several roads are closed as they assist the Florida Highway Patrol with a “critical incident.”

Deputies said there is currently a large law enforcement presence in the area of 16th Road and State Road A1A in Palm Coast.

According to the sheriff’s office, the following areas are closed at this time:

Hammock Dunes Parkway and16th Road East

The Old Salt Park Beach Access at the end of 16th Road East

The parking lot for Atlantic Grille at Hammock Beach Golf Resort

“There is believed to be no danger to the public,” the sheriff’s office posted on social media.
