Older school children have been told not to go into a new play park in Co Down, following a "large number of complaints".
The vice principal of Bangor Academy and Sixth Form College has written to parents to "reinforce" the message, after warning his pupils they should not be in the park before, after or during school hours.
Vice principal Mr Withers said the school has received a "large number of complaints" about the "conduct" of some pupils in a new play park that's recently opened at Ward Park, as part of a major redevelopment.

Mr Withers has written to parents after delivering the message to pupils during an assembly.
"Unfortunately we are receiving a large number of complaints from members of the public about the conduct of some of our pupils in the new play park within Ward Park as families try and enjoy the new facility with their toddlers," he said in his letter to parents. "I have had to walk over on multiple occasions to respond to these complaints.
"With this in mind I am asking for your support. I'm sure you will agree that that play park has been designed for much younger children, therefore I have told our pupils that whilst in uniform they are not to be in the new play park either before or after school, and certainly not during."
The principal added: "Years 8-10 have been spoken to today in assembly and I would appreciate if you would reinforce this message at home."
