ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police announced that a man has been arrested after a fight led to a fatal shooting in a local neighborhood earlier this month.

According to the police department, the shooting happened on Jan. 8, which is when officers were called to the intersection of Thomas Street and Drew Avenue.

Investigators said that two men had gotten into a fight that led to the shooting, and the victim — identified as Michael Robinson, 35 — died at the scene.

On Thursday, the shooting suspect — Timothy Earl Isom-Petty, Jr., 22 — was taken into custody, police stated.

Isom-Petty faces a charge of first-degree murder.
