Detectives are investigating a petrol bomb attack at a house in North Belfast.
A report was received at 11pm on Saturday night (March 22), that a petrol bomb “had been thrown into the garden of a house in the Hoylake Park area of the city”. The PSNI says device did not ignite “and only minor damage was caused”.
A spokesperson added: “Whilst in attendance, officers were informed that a second homemade device had been left at the property but that it had also failed to ignite.
“Detectives are working to establish a motive for the incident and would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or who captured dash-cam or CCTV footage which could assist with their enquiries, to contact them at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number 1725 22/03/25.
