The Korea Enterprises Federation (KEF), chaired by Sohn Kyung-shik, released on Monday an English-language booklet that outlines key issues related to the country's corporate environment and labor market, aiming to help international institutions understand Korea's business landscape.
The booklet, titled "2025 Business Environment and Labor Market in Korea," provides insights into policies, legal frameworks and the latest research and statistical data on topics such as the minimum wage, industrial transformation and labor market reform. The publication aims to help international organizations, foreign economic groups and multinational corporations better understand Korea’s business framework.
The KEF distributed the booklet, along with a letter from Sohn, to more than 250 organizations, including international bodies such as the OECD, the International Labour Organization (ILO), economic groups from the United States, Japan, China and the European Union, as well as overseas think tanks and foreign-invested enterprises.
In the letter, Sohn said he hopes the booklet will help employers and organizations gain more knowledge on Korea’s business environment and labor market and encourage continued corporate activity and investment in the country.
In January, Sohn sent letters to overseas institutions, including the International Organisation of Employers, the Heritage Foundation and the ILO, outlining Korea’s political landscape and calling for continued support and confidence in the country’s economy and businesses.
