Sam Asghari defended Britney Spears after Kevin Federline said their sons — Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15 — haven’t seen their mother in months due to her racy Instagram photos.
“Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mothers [sic] choices and positive body image they wouldn’t be the 1st teenagers emberrassed [sic] of their parents,” Asghari wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story Monday. “The mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager.”
The actor went on to say that the idea of parents embarrassing their children is so common and accepted that it’s been a “storyline” used in television and movies for decades.
“Eventually if not already they will realize their mothers [sic] choices are harmless and an expression of a newly found freedom,” he wrote. “There is nothing to be embarrassed [sic] about just lots of things to be proud of ❤️🙏 .”

This isn’t the first time the model, who married Spears in June, addressed her ex-husband’s claims.
“The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model,” he wrote via Instagram Story on Sunday, specifically addressing the claims that the singer’s nude posts have been “tough” for the boys to deal with.

That same day, Spears, 40, also defended her relationship with her sons, calling Federline’s interview “hurtful.”
“It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children,” she wrote via Instagram Story. “As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone .. It concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram.”

The “Toxic” singer also reminded her followers that she is still processing the end of her conservatorship and is doing her best trying to balance her newfound freedom and motherhood.
“In addition to what I said on my story … As their step mom (Victoria Prince) says ‘whatever is happening outside this home has nothing to do with his home’ … I would like to share the DOOR to outside is a token to the WHITE GATES I’ve been kept from for 15 years … the conservatorship has only been over for 8 months !!!!” she wrote.
She continued “I should embark on doing WAAAY more than going topless on the beach like a baby !!!! I’m not surprised that just as my family did their share of interviews, they will too. I’m not surprised at all with their behavior and their approach to what I’ve had to deal with !!!”

The fiery statements from the newlyweds came after Federline told the Daily Mail that Preston and Jayden chose not to go to their mother’s wedding to Asghari due to frustrations with her nude Instagram posts.
“The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now,” Federline, who has primary custody of the boys, said in the interview. “It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.”

“This whole thing has been hard to watch, harder to live through, harder to watch my boys go through than anything else,” he said. “It’s been tough. It’s the most challenging thing I’ve ever had to do in my life.”
Federline, who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2006, added that he “can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school” with their mother posting nude selfies.
