The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to maintain its current monetary policy stance, following the latest Monetary Policy Board meeting.
In a statement, the Central Bank said it will keep the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) unchanged at 7.75 percent.
The decision reflects the Bank’s assessment of prevailing economic conditions and its commitment to maintaining stability in the financial system.
Authorities indicated that the existing policy stance will continue as they monitor inflation trends, economic recovery, and other macroeconomic indicators.
