The Department of Railways has issued a notice regarding train services that will operate on Wednesdays after the government declared every Wednesday a special public holiday due to the prevailing fuel crisis.
According to the announcement, the Railway Department has informed the public about the trains that will operate and their departure times on several major railway lines.
These include the Main Line, Coastal Line, Kelani Valley Line, Puttalam Line, Batticaloa/Trincomalee Line, and the Up-country Line.
The department has released the relevant train schedules for these routes, and the Wednesday train timetables are provided below.
