The issues related to the QR code system introduced to regulate fuel consumption during the fuel supply crisis have now been resolved, according to the Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Mayura Neththikumara.
Speaking today (17), he stated that problems remain only for about 10,000 registered vehicles, while the QR codes of all other registered vehicles are currently active.
Mr. Neththikumara also mentioned that the QR code date cycle will be updated on Saturday (21).
At present, around 5 million vehicles have been registered under the QR code system. However, members of the public said today (17) that they are still facing some inconveniences due to issues related to the QR code system.
