Minhyuk of K-pop group MONSTA X will throw the ceremonial first pitch for the first time since his debut.

According to his agency Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk is scheduled to appear on the mound at Jamsil Baseball Stadium at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, for the 2025 KBO League game between the LG Twins and Hanwha Eagles.

"I’m thrilled to be throwing the first pitch for the first time since debut," Minhyuk said through his agency. "I’m grateful to the LG Twins for giving me this great opportunity, and I’ll do my best to bring energy to the players and fans."

He added, "I’ll be cheering hard for an LG Twins victory. I hope all the players stay healthy and show great performances this season."

MONSTA X’s connection with the LG Twins began in 2023 when members Kihyun and Joohoney participated in the OST for the Tving original documentary “Our Game: LG Twins” with the track “Awake.” That same year, Kihyun and Joohoney also served as ceremonial pitcher and batter, respectively. With Minhyuk now joining them on the mound, the warm relationship between the group and the baseball team continues.
