Kari Lake on Wednesday played down speculation that she is angling for a Senate run, insisting she was only interested in fighting on with her election lawsuit.

'I'm going to win this,' she told reporters at the Republican National Committee winter meeting at the luxury Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach hotel in California.

Trump-backed Lake lost her campaign to be Arizona governor by 17,000 votes.

She has blamed printer problems and discrepancies in the ways voters were directed to other polling stations for her defeat, and launched a lawsuit to overturn the result.

Kari Lake on Wednesday evening dismissed speculation that she is planning to run for Senate

She spoke at the luxury Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach hotel in California, where RNC members are gathered for their winter meeting and to elect a chairman

Her fiery attitude and alliance with Trump has turned her into a favorite of the MAGA base.

On Wednesday she was at a luxury resort, helping Harmeet Dhillon in her campaign to unseat Ronna McDaniel as chairwoman of the Republican National Committee.

'We have an amazing movement of real people,' she said. 'They call it the grassroots I call it the mama bears and the papa bears bears.

'And we have an opportunity to take that energy and move it to the Republican PArty and take this country. We're all willing to do that. We need a change to make that happen.'

But the woman that Trump calls a 'killer' for her dogged insistence on victory, could not help but turn things back to her own campaign.

'They cheated in elections in Arizona,' she said, 'and they've been cheating for a long time.'

Harmeet Dhillon is running to unseat Ronna McDaniel as chairwoman, and says the choice of venue shows how the RNC and its profligate spending are out of touch with voters

She was asked if she was planning to run for Senate, when Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is up for reelection next year.

She said he only plan was to keep fighting to overturn November's election result.

'We are going to take every avenue we can to end the fraud in Arizona's election,' she said.

'They sabotaged election day to take our vote and our voice away.

'Only after that would I even consider it.'

Blake Masters who lost his Senate race last year is also rumored to be considering another run.

Earlier in the day Lake suffered a setback when the Arizona Republic found that Lake alienated some 33,000 voters in Maricopa County, around Phoenix, who ended up throwing their weight behind her Democratic rival Katie Hobbs but backed Republicans in other state races.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is up for reelection next year. She became an independent last year, and the race is attracted a string of high-profile Republicans

She is due to appear at a Save Arizona rally on Sunday in Phoenix.

At the end of last year, a Maricopa County judge ordered Lake to pay some of Hobbs legal fees related to the lawsuit, in the latest in a string of setbacks.

Judge Peter Thompson rejected Lake's lawsuit, and said there wasn't convincing evidence of misconduct.

She has appealed that finding.

Analysis of campaign donations shows that it election denialism a lucrative business. In the month and three quarters between the election and the end of the year, Lake raised $2,515,169 after the election.
