Oh Sung-hoon, the executive producer of Kiya Music and a former member of the hip-hop group People Crew has died at the age of 46.

Kiya Music representatives confirmed on Monday that Oh was found dead early that day at a recording studio. The cause of death has not been revealed.

Oh began his career as a B-boy in Itaewon before debuting in the music industry in 1997 as a member of People Crew, a hip-hop group produced by Do Gun-woo, formerly of Sobangcha. The group, which included rapper MC Mong at one point, released three studio albums before disbanding in the mid-2000s.

Following the group's disbandment, Oh transitioned into songwriting, composing a song for Jang Woo-hyuk in 2006. He later co-wrote K.Will’s “Love 119” with Cho Young-soo and composed J-Cera’s “Love City” on his own. Oh also worked as a music producer for several dramas, including “Reborn Rich,” “The King of Dramas,” “The Mask” and "Hyena."
