Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
As a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, Isabella Boylston is always on the move. Having joined ABT in 2006, she’s danced the lead in some of the world’s most famous (and physically challenging) ballets, from “Swan Lake” to “Sleeping Beauty” — and even served as Jennifer Lawrence’s dance double in the 2018 thriller “Red Sparrow.”
So it’s understandable that when she’s off duty, the busy Brooklyn-based prima ballerina swaps her pointe shoes for sporty sneaks and pampers herself with sheet masks, soothing tunes and perhaps a cocktail or two.
We spoke with Boylston after the VIP opening of the Fleuriste St-Germain pop-up in downtown NYC to get the scoop on her everyday essentials — all of which you can shop below.
1
Nike Zoom Air Fire Shoes
“I wear these sneakers nearly every day and they are the comfiest I’ve found. As a ballerina living in NYC, I walk a lot and rehearse for up to nine hours a day, so I need quality shoes — and these look great with little socks and short summer dresses.”

St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
“Whether I’m at home recreating the exquisite ‘Above the Clouds’ cocktail I had at Fleuriste St-Germain last week or ordering a champagne cocktail with a twist out on the town, my go-to is always anything with St Germain — a balanced, versatile elderflower liqueur with notes of pear, grapefruit and tropical fruits. With 1,000 handpicked elderflower blossoms in every bottle, it’s the ideal summer staple for any bar cart.”

Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable Longwear Foundation
“I’m always looking for foundation that evens out my skin but doesn’t look like makeup. This one from Make Up For Ever is velvety and looks seamless over sunscreen too.”
$43
4
Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo
“I’ve always had super long Rapunzel-like hair and dreaded haircuts. This conditioner keeps my ends as healthy as possible in between trims.”
$26
5
Dr. Jart+ Dermask Water Jet Soothing Hydra Solution
“During my performance season, my skin gets parched from all the sweat and aggressive stage makeup removal. When I’m not performing, I don’t wear any makeup during the day and use these Korean sheet masks from Dr. Jart+ to rehydrate.”
$7
6
Sonos Move
“One of the best parts of my job is getting to travel the world and share my art form with people from different cultures. Some of my favorite places I’ve performed are Tokyo, Paris, Havana and Buenos Aires. When I’m on the road I always bring a Sonos portable speaker so I can play music in my hotel room, or to have in case the sound system breaks down in rehearsal.”
