BONNEVILLE COUNTY — Troopers are investigating a six-vehicle crash that sent one woman to the hospital.
According to Idaho State Police Lt. Marvin Crain, troopers were called to South Yellowstone Highway and West 49th South in Bonneville County around 7 a.m. on Thursday. The crash involved six vehicles, including a semi, he said.
“It looks like somebody failed to yield at the stop sign,” Crain said.
Idaho 511 said all northbound lanes of Yellowstone Highway were blocked. As of 9 a.m., troopers were still cleaning the scene.
Idaho Falls Fire Department spokeswoman Kerry Hammon said firefighters extricated and transported a 35-year-old woman to a local hospital. She was a driver of a minivan and is in critical condition, Hammon said.
No other patients were taken by ambulance, Hammon said.
