A woman has raised over £2,000 after shaving her head in order to support a cat charity in Lisburn.
Laura McGrath says that she is blown away by the response to her fundraiser for Rescue Cats NI, a cat charity that helps vulnerable cats from across Northern Ireland.
She has been a volunteer with the charity for two years now and told Belfast Live that she wanted to do something to help it continue the work that it does and support the cats in its care.

Laura says that over the past few years she has seen how dedicated the charity is to rescuing vulnerable cats and helping them to find new and loving homes. It also supports a number of elderly and sick cats that are unable to be rehomed and provides them with a safe environment to live.
Three of her four cats, Aladdin, Jasmine, Skinny and Bronx were adopted from the charity.
Rescue Cats NI was founded by Lynsey Jones who is supported by an array of volunteers who are eager to look after the animals.
Speaking of Belfast Live, Laura said that she had been planning the fundraiser for a number of months but wanted to wait until after she celebrated her birthday before braving the shave and getting rid of her hair.
She said: "A couple of years ago my friend and I started to volunteer at Rescue Cats NI and I have been amazed by the work that Lynsey and the volunteers do.
"During my time there I have seen how important it is and want to do something to support it and the cats they look after and hopefully ease some of the financial pressures.
"I had been planning for the fundraiser for a while and wasn't sure how well it would do, but I have been completely blown away by the support and nearly doubled the original target. I would just like to thank everyone who has donated, it really means so much."
