ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was injured in a shooting on Saturday afternoon, but may not have been the intended target, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Police said they responded to the shooting in the area of Bel Air Avenue and Curry Ford Road around 2:58 p.m.

According to Orlando police, the woman was taken to a local hospital and is her condition is improving, although no other details were shared on her condition.

Police said the woman did not appear to be the intended target, but did not elaborate further.

At this time, there is no information on who the suspect is, OPD said.
