Television presenter Vogue Williams and her husband Spencer Matthews have revealed that they've chosen to concentrate on nurturing their current family unit and prioritising their needs as a couple, rather than expanding their family with a fourth child. Vogue, 39, and former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, 36, who have been married since 2018, are parents to Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two.
During their joint podcast, Spencer and Vogue, the Irish television personality confessed that she is content with their family size and wouldn't want to go through breastfeeding again so soon. Vogue, who will appear in the Strictly Christmas Special, hopes to spend more quality time with their children and explore family travel without an additional baby making it more complicated.
Vogue shared: "I think we have decided that we are quite happy with three kids."
Spencer added: "I think, for now, we have decided that we want to focus on our beautiful family as it is, because we have had so many years of it just being hectic. Like, it's just beginning to feel normal now, and every time we get to that, we bolt on another kid."
He also recalled a moment where the reality of having three children sunk in: "I woke up the other day and thought, 'I've got three f****** kids'. It just suddenly hit me, it was quite weird."
Vogue responded: "I just want to be able to take them to New York next year and if you throw another baby into the mix, you can't do stuff like that. I can't breastfeed for another year."
Spencer has revealed that he and his partner are set to "prioritise" their personal time alongside caring for their young family. He shared: "You're basically out of order for another three years and we've still got the other three who are young. So, for now, we want to prioritise ourselves as well, we want to travel the world and enjoy ourselves."
He also expressed his ambition to set another world record following his remarkable feat of completing 30 marathons in the desert over 30 days this year.
Spencer is aiming to tackle an Ironman triathlon on each of the seven continents, with a particular focus on conquering the challenge in Antarctica, which is considered the most daunting. Vogue, on the other hand, has her sights set on more leisurely pursuits, such as holidaying in Greece and advancing her career with projects like her book deal.
