A man appeared to be lifted off his feet and body-slammed, head-first, into the road during a Belfast "altercation" that was captured in video circulating on social media.
The video appears to show around half-a-dozen men engaged in a melee in the middle of the road on Saturday night, in the Queen’s Square area of the city centre.
One man appears to be slammed head-first into the tarmac during the fracas and a kick aimed in his direction as he lies prone on the road, while another man appears to be knocked to the ground after a punch is thrown.

The video shows a number of men running off as police officers arrive on the scene. The PSNI say one man sustained head injuries during the incident, which are "not believed to be serious".
In a statement to Belfast Live, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for information following an altercation, involving a number of people, in the Queen’s Square area of Belfast on Saturday 1st March."
Sergeant Lyttle, said: “At approximately 11pm, officers who were patrolling the area, witnessed the altercation and attempted to intervene. However, the suspects made off on arrival. One man sustained head injuries, which are not believed to be serious."
The officer continued: “Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information, CCTV, dash-cam or mobile footage, can contact police on 101, quoting reference number CW 1749 01/03/25.”
