While both milk allergy and milk intolerance involve reactions to dairy, they differ in their cause and symptoms. Milk allergy is an immune system reaction to milk proteins, which can cause symptoms ranging from mild to severe. These include:

Hives or skin rash Wheezing or shortness of breath Itching or tingling around the lips or mouth Swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat Coughing Vomiting Abdominal cramps Diarrhea, possibly with blood Anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction)

Milk intolerance is different from an allergy as it doesn't involve the immune system. It is a digestive issue where the body can't properly digest lactose or milk proteins. Symptoms of milk intolerance include:

Bloating or gas Stomach cramps Diarrhea Nausea (sometimes accompanied by vomiting) Indigestion Runny nose Watery eyes
