Motorists travelling into Belfast are facing delays this morning following a rush hour collision in East Belfast.
The PSNI have advised drivers to avoid the Upper Newtownards Road following the collision.
The road remains open but the collision has resulted in delays for city-bound traffic within the vicinity of Stormont.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Drivers are advised of delays on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast in the citybound direction due to a road traffic collision.
"Motorists should avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey if possible."

The latest Traffic Watch NI update says: "Road users are advised of delays on the A20 Upper Newtownards Road in the citybound direction due to a road traffic collision. Motorists should avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey if possible."
It is understood that the collision has occurred close to Stormont.
