Wreck happened near North Wickham Road

A crash Tuesday morning in Brevard County has prompted the closure of Interstate 95.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal crash Tuesday morning in Brevard County prompted the closure of Interstate 95.

The wreck, reportedly involving a concrete truck and at least one other vehicle, happened around 8:30 a.m. on I-95 north near North Wickham Road.

All lanes of I-95 north were closed in the area, but the left lane reopened before 10 a.m.

At one point, a medical helicopter landed near the crash site, but details about the wreck have not been released.
