Tourists rave about 'simple way' to beat Ryanair's 'brutal' baggage fees

1 month ago 203

As much as many people love going away on holiday, travelling comes with its fair share of stress.

From worrying that you have everything to getting to the airport on time to ensuring you haven't packed too much - there are all sorts of things to worry about. But, for Ryanair customers, certain rules have to be followed.

If you travel with the airline, you are able to take one small personal bag on board free of charge. However, if you want a larger cabin bag, you need to purchase Priority & 2 Cabin Bags or a Plus fare, or you'll risk having to pay a check-in fee.

However, one person thinks they've found the best way to "beat the brutal fees". Telling their personal story, it was claimed they were told there would be a £60 fee if their small bag didn't fit in the scale.

At first, it didn't seem to fit, but then the traveller revealed a super sneaky tip. The wheels come off the suitcase, which means it was able to pass the test.

The TikTok creator, known as Pablo Reviews, said the underseat suitcase is the "secret" to travel success. According to him, you can fit everything in, while avoiding paying extra fees.

Since the video was shared, it's gone viral, with over 65,000 people having liked it. Many people were left stunned by the handy travel tip.

One person said: "I've flown with Ryanair more times than I care to mention. Bottom line is, if you follow the rules, there is no problem with them at all."

Another wrote: "Just buy a 2OL bagpack. Look how much space those wheels take." A third also replied: "Anyone remember when you just had to book a flight and your luggage was included? Easy, simple and how it should be."

What is Ryanair's bag policy?

When you travel with Ryanair, there are a few things you need to know. If you stick to the guidance, you shouldn't experience any problems.
