Tony Miskimmon: Man due in court charged with pensioner's manslaughter

A man will appear in court charged with the manslaughter of a pensioner in Antrim.

Tony Miskimmon, 74, was assaulted in Station Road on November 2. He died in hospital some days later.

Earlier this month, a 21-year-old man appeared in court charged with wounding and criminal damage in connection with the incident.

He has now been charged with manslaughter after the charges were reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. He will appear at Antrim Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
