The Late Late Toy Show is only weeks away and it will be Patrick Kielty's second time hosting the iconic TV event.
In the lead up to the Toy Show, the team at the show have been giving away some and wanted to surprise someone in Dublin with them on Friday night's show.
The Co Down presenter mobilised his team of elves to surprise Niamh McCabe, who's set for a kidney transplant from her best friend Lynsey Daly next year.
As a token of gratitude, Niamh had put Lynsey forward for the tickets.
Niamh opened the door to the Toy Show crew secretly live on the show, with her friend also in the house but unaware of what was about to happen.
"Is that Niamh?" host Patrick asked as they approached the house. "They have genuinely no idea.. hi Niamh! Are we good to go? Can we come in?"
"Lets see if we can say hello to Lynsey!"
However, their live feed was quite laggy as they entered the home, much to the amusement of the live studio audience, who laughed as it totally froze.
Once they began heading in, the live feed stopped, with Patrick joking that viewers may need to come back for "season two" of the saga, to which the audience laughed.
He then 'froze' himself following a competition explainer, playing up the difficulties faced moments earlier.
After they returned from the break, thankfully there was a stable live feed, reports RSVP Live.
Niamh said: "You are giving me the gift of life after Christmas, you are donating your kidney to me, so I never in a million years thought that this would happen but they contacted me and they have a little surprise for us."
Patrick then chimed in to say that the surprise was Niamh and Lynsey would be attending the Late Late Toy Show, one of the hottest tickets in town at this time of year.
