A teenage girl has suffered facial injuries following a serious assault at a Belfast City Centre restaurant.
The incident took place at around 6.10pm on Wednesday, February 26, inside the Tim Hortons on Fountain Street and police have now launched an investigation in order to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It has been reported that a teenager was seriously assaulted inside the premises, suffering facial injuries, and enquiries are still at an early stage.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are investigating a serious assault involving young person's of approximately 15 years of age at Tim Hortons, Fountain street, Belfast on 26th February 2025 at approximately 6:10 pm.
"If you witnessed this incident, please contact us on the non-emergency number of 101 quoting reference number 1450 of 26th February 2025."
