There were tears of joy in Belfast City Airport today as many people returned to Northern Ireland for the Christmas period.
Annually, the weekend before Christmas sees some of the highest passenger numbers for our airports as loved ones return for the festive season.
At Belfast City Airport, the aiport's choir The Belfast City Belters were on hand to provide some festive cheer as family and friends gathered at the arrivals hall to catch a glimpse of their loved ones.
Meanwhile, the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for stong winds this weekend and said that this is likely to lead to some transport disruption.
