Target is coming to Chubbuck. Here’s where

CHUBBUCK — After months of rumors and speculation, Target has announced that it will open a location in Chubbuck.

On a page titled “Upcoming Store Openings” on Target’s website, it has the Pocatello/Chubbuck area listed. The website says that it will be located in the Pine Ridge Mall and will be about 128,000 square feet.

Target’s website lists no further details about the upcoming location.

Plans are already in the works to redevelop the Pine Ridge Mall from an enclosed mall to an open-air shopping center. SimonCRE, a development firm from Arizona, has been working on the redevelopment since it bought the property in May.

SimonCRE was not immediately available to comment on Target’s announcement.
