SUGAR-CITY — The Sugar-Salem football team may be running out of room to hang championship banners, but the Diggers managed to find a place for their 2024 banner during a celebration on Monday.
Sugar-Salem captured its sixth state title in seven years last week with a 28-14 win over Homedale.
Sugar-Salem finished 9-2 on the season and won its final six games of the season, beating Snake River and Kimberly in the playoffs before beating No. 2 seed Homedale in the final at Middleton High.
