Roundups from Friday’s girls state championship tournaments.

Rigby 56, Eagle 53
Kinzley Larsen finished with 25 points and Bailey Berrett added 10 points as the Trojans advanced to the consolation final.

The Trojans scored 16 points off of turnovers and held on despite No. 3 Eagle making 8 of 18 3-pointers.

Rigby (17-8) will play Borah in Saturday’s consolation final. Tip is 10 a.m. at Timberline High.

Boise 39, Madison 35
Boise outscored the Bobcats 25-13 in the second half to edge out the win.
Torey Parker led Madison with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Madison will play Coeur d’Alene in the third-place game. Tip is noon at Timberline High.

North Fremont 47, Ririe 43
The Huskies pulled away with 26 points in the fourth quarter in a battle of conference foes.

Peyton Lenz finished with 18 points and Taylor Sessions added 16 points and seven rebounds for North Fremont.

Jayden Nelson led the Bulldogs (15-11) with 12 points and Brinley Taylor scored 10.

The Huskies (14-14) face New Plymouth in the consolation game. Tip is 10 a.m. at Bishop Kelly High.

New Plymouth 48, Soda Springs 36
Abby Goodin scored 13 points for the Cardinals but it wasn’t enough as the Pilgrims pulled away in the second half.

Malad 48, Grangeville 36
The top-seeded Dragons moved into the championship game to face Parma on Saturday.

Malad (24-1) broke open a close game with 21 points in the fourth quarter.
Izzy Haycock topped Malad with 15 points and hit 2 of 3 3-pointers as the Dragons connected on 5 of 11 3s.

Saturday’s championship game is at 1:40 p.m.

Butte County 61, Wilder 25
The Pirates (18-8) advanced to the consolation final and will play Lakeside at 10 a.m. at Columbia High.

Three players scored in double figures led by Abbie Knight with 19 points. Knight also had eight rebounds.

Brynn Andersen and Addison Pancheri scored 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Challis 33, Mackay 30
Taylor Redick scored 12 points for the Vikings, who held off conference foe Mackay in a game that was tied six times and had three lead changes.

Alyssa Pehrson led the Miners (15-11) with 10 points. Jaida Rodriguez grabbed 12 rebounds.

Challis (17-7) will play Dietrich in Saturday’s consolation game at 10 a.m. at Nampa High.
