A single mum who rang triple-0 to falsely claim her ex-partner was threatening her and their children with a gun had been on an all-night bender drinking and playing Fortnite, a court has heard.
Jaimee-Lee Watson, 33, was facing up to a year behind bars when she pleaded guilty to making false claims in Manjimup Magistrates Court in Western Australia's south-west last week.
The court heard she made the desperate call in the early hours of October 1, claiming her ex-partner was making threats against her and their five children and wouldn't let her leave his Greenbushes home.
Two police officers were already on their way to the home when Watson called back 20 minutes to assure the operator their safety was no longer in danger and didn't need assistance.

The operator told her police were already rushing to the home and would be there in minutes.
When police arrived at the home, they quickly established Watson and her children weren't in danger.
The court heard Watson wanted to leave but was being stopped by her ex-partner as she was too intoxicated to get behind the wheel, Manjimup-Bridgetown Times reported.
The court heard Watson told police she made the false claim to the call operator to speed up their response time.
Watson's lawyer Fiona Walsh said her client's 'out-of-character' behaviour was due to being affected by alcohol and that Watson tried to rectify the mistake by making the second call
By the that stage, two officers had been called back on duty and were on their way to the job, the publication reported.

The court heard Watson had previously suffered substance abuse in the past due to finding her father deceased.
The police prosecutor told the court the punishment had to reflect the seriousness of Watson's actions. 'I doubt there would be any other person in this room with a belly full of alcohol that would do what you did,' Magistrate Linda Keane told Watson.
'(The charge) could lead to a term of imprisonment.'
Watson was ordered to do 40 hours of community service and pay $671.81 to cover overtime costs of the police officers involved, on top of court costs.
