Orange County sheriff’s deputies investigate incident

ORLANDO, Fla. – A shooting was reported after an early morning crash on State Road 408 in Orange County, prompting a large police presence.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. on eastbound S.R. 408 offramp to Dean Road.

Orange County deputies were called to the crash but later learned someone had been shot.

Sheriff’s officials told News 6 that the shooting was an “accidental discharge,” but no other details, including the victim’s condition, have been released.
