RIRIE — Ririe Elementary School is closed Wednesday and Thursday due to a broken boiler.
Superintendent Jeffrey S. Gee notified parents Tuesday with a letter saying the boiler must be shut down and repaired because of an issue that requires immediate attention.
“Fortunately, with spring break just around the corner, we will have additional time to complete the necessary repairs,” Gee wrote. “We are optimistic that the heating system will be fully operational when students return to school.”
The closure only affects the elementary school. Classes continue as normal at other schools.
