Say Nothing and Blue Lights receive BAFTA TV nominations

Two Northern Ireland series have received 2025 BAFTA TV nominations.

FX Production's series 'Say Nothing' which is available on Disney+ has received four nominations. It's described as "a story of murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles".

The series has been nominated in the International category, Lola Petticrew has been nominated in the Leading Actress category, and Maxine Peake in the Supporting Actress category.

Meanwhile, BBC police drama Blue Lights set in Belfast has received a nomination in the Drama Series category, up against Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, Sherwood, and Supacell.

Work is currently underway for series three of the NI series which follows the life of PSNI officers working and living in the city.

The BAFTA Television Craft Awards will take place on Sunday 27 April and will once again be hosted by Stacey Dooley. The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises will be hosted by Alan Cumming and will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 11 May.
