Ruth Langsford had an announcement for Loose Women viewers as the show wrapped up on Tuesday.
Hosting the episode on March 25, Ruth was accompanied by panellists Janet Street-Porter, Coleen Nolan, and Mariella Frostrup. After chatting with EastEnders star James Bye and debating George Clooney's step back from romantic comedies, Ruth turned to the audience with a key announcement.
She informed fans that Loose Women would not be broadcast on Wednesday, 26 March, due to the programme being replaced by coverage of the government's Spring Statement, reports the Mirror.

Addressing the audience, she said: "We're not here tomorrow either because of the Spring Statement. I'm sure you're all looking forward to that. We are going to be back on Thursday though, with Adolescence actor Mark Stanley. I hope you can join us then!"
Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer, will deliver the 2025 Spring Statement in the House of Commons on Wednesday, following the Prime Minister's Questions.
ITV News Special: The Chancellor's State will air on Wednesday from 12.15pm until 1.45pm, meaning Loose Women cannot air in its usual 12.30pm slot on the broadcaster's flagship channel.
However, Ruth confirmed Loose Women will be back on TV screens on Thursday, 27 March at 12.30pm as normal.
Earlier on Tuesday's episode of Loose Women, Janet opened up about her holiday to Australia, which had been quite a disaster due to the weather.
Ruth Langsford opened the show by greeting everyone and said: "Of course, welcome back Janet. So, Janet, there I was sunning myself in the Caribbean for my birthday and I'm thinking you're sunning yourself in Australia, but no."
Janet replied: "As I arrived in Australia, Typhoon Andrew was offshore, and for the next ten days, I lived in a state of high alert. I was given a walkie-talkie, I had to go and bulk buy water, and we were trapped in our house. The road to our house we rented was flooded. It was scary stuff, but you know me. Then, on the very last day of my holiday, the sun came out."
She managed to make light of the situation and showed a clip of herself wearing a shower cap while wishing her co-star Coleen a happy birthday, filmed during her getaway to Australia earlier this month.
