A police investigation has been launched after "some form of acid" was poured into a car's diesel tank in Co Down.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 4pm on Friday, November 29, and 6pm on Saturday, November 30, outside Kevin's Newsagents on the Square, in Strangford.
It was reported that a type of acid was poured into the diesel tank of a red Ford Ranger.

Police are asking anyone with any information regarding the incident to contact them as soon as possible.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently investigating criminal damage of a red Ford Ranger that occurred outside Kevin's Newsagents on the Square, Strangford between 16:00 hours Friday the 29th of November 2024 and 18:00 hours Saturday 30th of November.
"It is believed that some form of acid has been poured into the diesel tank of the car.
"If you witnessed anything or have any information that may assist us, please contact 101 quoting reference 432 of 03/12/24, or make a report to us online."
