Primark has impressed shoppers with its brand new collection of lemon-coloured fashion - including suit trousers, matching blazers, shorts and button-up waistcoat. Some customers have been so blown away by the 'classy' springtime collection they say they would 'never guess' the clothes are from Primark as they look 'more expensive'.
With tomorrow marking the astronomical arrival of spring (March 20), many people are getting their wardrobes ready for the warmer weather. To help Brits out, Primark has released a range of pale yellow garments in some of the most sought-afters designs this season.
On TikTok, several fashion enthusiasts and bloggers have been sharing their thoughts on the new spring line-up. A user called So Stylish Soph gave her 178k followers a glimpse of what's available in stores by trying on the retailer's £14 Co-ord Tailored Trousers and £24 Co-ord Single-Breasted Blazer, both in the colour 'lemon'.
Primark's £14 Co-ord Tailored Trousersfeature belt loops, slip pockets and pleat details. Besides lemon, other colours to choose from include white, blush, green and camel. The £24 Co-ord Single-Breasted Blazer is also available in the same array of colours.
Showing off what the blazer and trousers look like on, she said: "Oh my god, it is amazing. Lemon for me at the minute is one of my favourite colours. I picked up a lemon bralette to go with it. For me, the look is absolutely amazing. So classy. It's absolutely gorgeous. You would never even know this is from Primark."
However, she did say: "The only thing I would say is I don't know if the lemon [colours] match perfectly. The trousers are a bit thinner than the blazer so the colour is just slightly off. But, to be honest, it's not actually bothering me." In the caption, she added: "Screaming crying throwing up over the yellow suit, girlsssss! I can’t even deal, it’s perfect!"
Primark is also selling this Strapless Button-Up Waistcoat for £14 in the same lemon shade. Its structured silhouette features a sweetheart neckline, button-through front and flap pocket details. You can wear it with this matching Tailored Mini Skort for £12, which comes with welt pockets and invisible side zip fastening.
In the comment section, one follower called Donna replied: "That yellow suit looks amazing on you." Another said: "Blazer looks nice on you." Emma added: "Ahh I’ve got the blazer but bought the skort to go with it they match perfectly." A fourth put: "All so lush! Love the suit."
Elsewhere at Primark, customers are raving about a pair of shoes that closely resemble a pricier option. This popular high-street brand, celebrated for its affordable fashion and home goods, might have just introduced a new favourite among shoppers.
