Police have confirmed that a male pedestrian has been taken to hospital after a rush-hour collision involving a car in Belfast city centre.
Officers received a report of a collision involving a car and pedestrian at approximately 4.30pm today, Thursday 16th January, in the Donegall Place area.
Medical treatment was provided at the scene – and the pedestrian, aged in his 30s, was transported to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
A PSNI spokesperson added: "Traffic is now freely flowing in the area following earlier congestion. Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with dash-cam or other footage of what happened is asked to contact 101, quoting reference 1138 16/01/25."
