Three officers were injured during an incident in West Belfast with one suffering a broken thumb as others were bitten and punched.
Police were called to an incident on Friday, February 28, in the west of the city which ended in three officers being injured, with one suffering a broken thumb, another being bit in the had and a third being punched in the face.
A 36-year-old man has since been charged with multiple offences including two counts of assault on police, resisting police, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and criminal damage.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday, March 3.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 36 year old man has been charged with two counts of assault on police, resisting police, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and criminal damage.
"He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 3rd March. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
