Police: Man, two juveniles charged for vandalism of multiple cars in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — Police have caught those allegedly responsible for a string of vandalism where vehicle windows were shot out or damaged with a BB gun.

The vandalism happened on Albany Street, Elswood Drive, Hansen Avenue, Neptune Drive and surrounding areas in Idaho Falls. Pictures sent to EastIdahoNews.com show multiple vehicle windows shattered.

According to Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements, the damage happened during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Police received approximately two dozen reports.

Clements said the individuals responsible have been caught and charges are being pursued.

One is an adult and he has been arrested for felony malicious injury to property. His name has not been released yet. Two others involved are juveniles and their charges are being handled through the juvenile correction system.

No injuries were reported. No information was available regarding the monetary cost of the damage.
