Police in Derry "concerned" for missing 26-year-old woman with 'mummy' tattoo

Police in Derry are "becoming concerned" for a 26-year-old woman who has been reported missing.

Shannon Smith was last seen in Derry city centre on Monday. She is described as having blue eyes, is around 5'4, with a slim build and long, dark hair that's usually tied in a bun, a police spokesperson said.

She also has what was described as a "distinctive tattoo" on her left arm with the word 'mummy'.

A spokesperson for the PSNI in the Derry and Strabane policing district said: "Police are becoming concerned for Shannon Smith who has been reported Missing. She was last seen in the City centre of the city on the 31st of March.

"Shannon is described as 26 years old with blue eyes, is 5ft 4, slim build and long dark hair, usually tied in a bun. She also has a distinctive tattoo on her left arm saying ‘mummy’. She is believed to be wearing a black top and black leggings, however this may have changed."

The spokesperson added: "Should you know of Shannon’s whereabouts, or can assist Police to locate her, please call 101 quoting serial 1615 of the 31 March."
