Pete Wicks has opened up about moving away from Essex amid rumours he and Maura Higgins have gone their separate ways.
The Strictly Come Dancing star and Maura are thought to have dated for several months, with the latter confirming she was "seeing" him during her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stint last year.
Last week, however, the former Love Island star seemingly confirmed their romance had ended, in a dig at Pete, 36.
In footage obtained by The Sun, Maura said he was "probably cheating" when she was quizzed about his whereabouts.
Maura's remark emerged amid speculation about the reasons for their split, with one report claiming there were trust issues.
In the latest instalment of his podcast Staying Relevant, which he co-hosts with Sam Thompson, the TOWIE personality revealed his plans to move out of Essex on his own.
He began: "It's been a week, because I'm in London so much, I'm, yeah, in the process of moving across. It should've been done really quickly, but I've been quite busy and I haven't had the time, and actually forgot how much moving house takes.
"So, what has happened over the past week is, I've been slowly moving on my own in a two-seater car."
When Sam probed about what it felt like to leave Essex, Pete responded: "I've gone from Essex to the hood I think, because I'm now in East London."
He recounted previous experiences living in that area and expressed relief at no longer facing daily three-hour commutes.
Pete went on to share further details about his new apartment, which is still in the process of becoming a fully-fledged home.
"The apartment currently has no TVs, no cutlery, no cups, no nothing, which is a struggle," he added. "So, I'm kind of splitting my time between two because I'm doing it so slowly."
The reality star added that he hopes to be settled into his new pad by August.
This relocation means increasing the distance between himself and Maura, who is believed to have secured a £1.25 million house in the county last October.
Maura gave her followers a glimpse into her luxurious abode on Instagram, showcasing her spacious kitchen alongside the caption: "Bought my dream home."
Her pad is believed to be a 30-minute drive from Pete's current place located in West Essex.
