Police have advised motoroists to exercise caution on the roads across Northern Ireland on Friday morning.
It comes as a weather warning for snow and ice is in place until 10am this morning, Friday, November 22, with frequent snow showers taking place yesterday afternoon and evening, with icy patches developing overnight into this morning.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Driving conditions are hazardous on many routes across Northern Ireland this morning due to snow and freezing temperatures. Reduce your speed and drive to suit the conditions."

Salting of the road network around Northern Ireland is continuing into this morning. Trafficwatch NI said: "Temperatures were forecast to fall below freezing and there is a risk of ice and Snow on roads. A Met Office Yellow Warning of Snow and Ice for Northern Ireland remains is in place valid to 10.00 on Friday 22 November 2024.
"Salting of roads on the scheduled network at risk has been undertaken overnight, and additional secondary salting is underway in many areas this Friday morning. Road users are still advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads. Read more winter service information here."
Regarding how the yellow weather warning will will impact road users, the Met Office said:

Further weather warnings in coming days
Looking ahead to the weekend, further weather warnings have been issued as Storm Bert is expected to bring strong winds and heavy, persistent rain.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind from 5am to 7pm on Saturday and a separate yellow warning for rain and snow from midnight to 11am.
The forecaster said: "Storm Bert will bring a spell of rain, preceded by snow in places, on Friday night into Saturday which may cause some disruption. It will also bring strong winds for a time on Saturday, which may cause some disruption in places."

Weather warning in place
A yellow weather warning for snow and ice is in place in Northern Ireland until 10am today.
When it was issued yesterday, a spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Showers are expected to become more frequent during the afternoon and evening [Thursday], feeding south across Northern Ireland and turning to snow above 150m. Some places could see 2-5cm of fresh snow, with a further 10cm over mountain tops.
"Icy patches are expected to develop on untreated surfaces during the evening and overnight as temperatures drop below freezing."
