Northern Ireland energy prices: How the suppilers compare so far in 2025

Energy Prices continue to be a factor for households and businesses across Northern Ireland as people struggle with the cost of living.

Over the past five months energy prices in Northern Ireland remain fairly stable with only a number of suppilers raising their tariffs during that time. Customers will now see their bills £60 cheaper per year than they would have at the end of 2023.

Most households will now be able to get their annual bills for electricity undere £1,000, if they are able to avail fo the correct deals or suppilers, with average gas prices being just over £1,000 per year.

In order to help our readers decide what the best supplier for them is, Belfast Live has created a summary of the most recent prices from September 5 from the Consumer Council's price comparison tables.

There are some suppilers who offer 12 month discounts for switching to their accounts, with rates increasing after this time.
