New Year's Day babies NI: Meet some of the little ones born as we welcome 2025

Here are some of the adorable newborn babies who were welcomed into the world in Northern Ireland on New Year's Day 2024.

The little bundles of joy were delivered into the world at the Royal-Jubilee Maternity Hospital and the Ulster Maternity Hospital in Dundonald.

The first baby of the new year came when Katie McCartney gave birth to her son Ezra Ashton, at 32 minutes past midnight at the 'home from home' at Ulster Maternity Hospital.

The first baby girl of the year arrived at 12 minutes later at the Ulster Maternity Hospital, when Jill Boobyer gave birth at 00:44 at Ulster Maternity Hospital.
