Martin Lewis has apologised after his latest episode of The Martin Lewis Money Show left viewers feeling overwhelmed. In the recent show, aired on Tuesday evening, the well-known finance expert and Good Morning Britain regular provided a multitude of financial tips ranging from cost-cutting measures to budgeting advice and retail insights.
He brought attention to a key deadline, stressing that it was the final chance for people to recover unclaimed National Insurance contributions from the period between 2006 and 2016 before diving into an assessment of the best cash ISA options and explaining the starting rate for savings.
Viewers were inundated with valuable tips designed to bolster their financial wellbeing during the highly informative show.
However, some fans found the one-hour programme's pace too intense. Disgruntled viewers voiced their concerns online, prompting one to comment: "Please can the show be on for longer and get Martin to slow down! Causes me anxiety watching it.", reports the Mirror.
Agreement came from another who said: "I wish Martin would talk more slowly...."
Meanwhile, an exasperated viewer said: "I can't watch this anymore.. I'm going to go and stare at the wall.. my god, does he even come up for air! ! ! !".
Amidst the confusion, one person admitted: "I don't know how anybody follows all this."
However, a surge of support on social media followed as fans showed their appreciation for Martin's financial guidance.
One viewer praised his ability to demystify financial topics, saying: "Brilliant show as usual! Thank you so much for making money matters so much easier to understand and less scary!".
Others expressed their dependence on his advice, with comments like: "What would we do without you! ! !" and "Thank you for sharing much appreciated."
After the final commercial break, Martin addressed his quick-paced presentation throughout the show, explaining that he was eager to share as much knowledge as possible before the series concluded.
He said to the viewers: "Sorry about going so fast, but there's so many things I want to tell you before the series ends."
Although it was the last episode for the current run, the ITV show took to Twitter to share an update with its followers.
As they posted a clip of the studio being dismantled, they announced: "We're packing away the studio for our spring break... but we won't be gone for long! Send in your travel/holiday questions for our Summer Special on the 20th May."
